MISSION STATEMENT
We as patients, parents and healthcare professionals are uniquely qualified and committed to embracing families with trust and sensitivity to the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs within the CF community. This group acts as a voice for improvement and is a conduit to bring issues of patients and families to the CF Center.

We accept our obligations by ensuring that patients and families can always seek assistance from the Group, will have resources readily available, and will listen and act professionally and compassionately. We will share knowledge, and strive to achieve quality care with our colleagues and peers. We will stay abreast of new and developing best practices, and will continue to develop community trust and acceptance. We will provide progressive, personal services encompassing the full continuum of care delivered within the community.

CCCFC Patient and Family Advisory Group includes a unique and enjoyable team of parents, adult patients with CF and members of the CCCFC Health Care team. The group meets on a monthly basis. Our primary focus is to improve the care of people with CF. We also have the opportunity to laugh with familiar faces and share common struggles each one of us face.

LOCATION & TIME
All meetings are at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Lower Level, Conference Room E (in the Cafeteria) from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
