WAL-MART AND BIG HITS 102.9 DRC-FM TEAM UP FOR THE
“ANGELS FOR CCMC” TOY DRIVE

HARTFORD, CONN -- Two longtime supporters of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center will spend the holiday season collecting toys for children in the hospital. Now in its second year, the “Angels for CCMC” toy collection combines the efforts of Wal-Mart and Big Hits 102.9 DRC-FM.

Staff from Big Hits 102.9 DRC-FM will be stationed at Connecticut Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores all month collecting toy donations for children who will be spending the holidays in the medical center. A list of age appropriate toys for patients ranging from babies to teenagers is available on the Connecticut Children’s website: here.

The tentative schedule and store locations for the Angels for CCMC toy collection includes:

• Friday, Dec. 9 - 4 to 6 pm, Wallingford Wal-Mart
• Saturday, Dec. 10 - Noon to 2 pm, Manchester Sam’s Club
• Sunday, Dec. 11 - Noon to 2 pm, Guilford Wal-Mart
• Monday, Dec. 12 – 4 to 6 pm, Hartford Wal-Mart
• Thursday, Dec. 15 – 4 to 6 pm, Lisbon Wal-Mart
• Friday, Dec. 16 – 4 to 6 pm, Wallingford Wal-Mart
• Saturday, Dec. 17 – Noon to 2 pm, Groton Wal-Mart
• Sunday, Dec. 18 – Noon to 2 pm, Hartford Wal-Mart
• Monday, Dec. 19 – 4 to 6 pm, Norwich Wal-Mart
