In regards to reputation, the program was listed in the top 10. "This is quite an accomplishment for our division and for Connecticut Children’s," said Jeffrey Hyams, MD, director of digestive diseases, hepatology and nutrition. "As we strive to reach the goals of our strategic plan, it’s nice for our staff to step back for a moment and see how their efforts are being recognized." In conjunction with the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions, 143 hospitals were invited to complete a detailed survey for the annual edition of US News and World Reports that lists America’s best children’s hospitals.
